Arrivals - Day One

June 1st

Fly to the stunning Turkish city of Istanbul and be greeted at the airport by your direct transportation to the first hotel in the historic district of the city.

Check in at our award winning 4-star boutique hotel then enjoy your afternoon relaxing and settling in. The group will come together for our included Welcome Dinner on our first night in Turkey.

Day Two -Explore Istanbul's History

June 2nd

Today is your opportunity to visit the most famous historic sites in Istanbul: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Byzantine Hippodrome, Cistern Basilica, and the Grand Bazaar. This walking tour with a local women guide will give you incredible insights into Istanbul's History while you take in the beauty of the city around you.

Day Three - Take a Food Tour

June 3rd

Istanbul is incredibly unique for being where the East meets the West, so we want you to experience both sides during your trip here.

Explore a spice market and take a food tour through the Eastern parts of the city.

After another exciting walking tour, relax on a private yacht tour through the Bosphorus Strait.

In the evening we highly recommend that you choose to add a private Hammam/Turkish Bath experience to enhance your trip.*

Day Four - Next stop...Cappadocia

June 4th

Board a domestic flight to the stunning eastern region of Turkey. Check into our next hotel in Cappadocia, which is a husband and wife owned 4-star rated hotel. They created the hotel with the intention of being able to pass it down to their daughter to run when she comes of age. At the end of the day join the group for an optional group dinner and drinks*

Day Five - Sightseeing in Cappadocia

June 5th

Today is the day you've been waiting for. This day is packed full with all of the incredible scenery and experiences that Cappadocia has to offer. See the famous fairy chimneys, have a morning picnic watching the hot air balloons take off, make local pottery with women artisans, and more.

Today you have the option to add a hot air ballon ride, sunset atv tour, or horseback riding to your trip*

Day Six - Last Day in Cappadocia

June 6th

We're making sure that you don't miss a single thing! Today offers a unique opportunity to join some local women in a nearby village for lunch, see an underground city, and visit a castle. Wear your walking shoes.

Fly back to Istanbul in the evening then join the group for an optional send off dinner* before your departure the next day.

Departures - Day Seven

June 7th

Don't stress about your departure, with two different scheduled transfers our team will handle getting you back to the airport in time for your flight.

Each trip is curated for our guests' needs. We will work with you to customize the experience. *indicates an add on experience that is at an additional cost.

Istanbul - Historic Old Town

Welcome to Turkey! You will be welcomed in the heart of Istanbul. Our first hotel is a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of the Old City of Istanbul and also the winner of Turkey’s Best Luxury Hotel 2018 award by International Travel Awards. Only steps away from some of the most famous historical sites throughout the city. This woman owned hotel will be a luxurious home away from home while exploring the expansive city with your fellow women travelers.

Ürgüp - Cappadocia Region

Cappadocia is a semi-arid region in central Turkey famous for its fairy chimneys and on social media the hot air balloons. Our next hotel is in the Ürgüp town of the Cappadocia region. Ürgüp is the region's most upscale and contemporary tourist city. The hotel offers its guests a luxury hotel service within the cave formations that are a part of the historical texture of Cappadocia. This husband and wife owned property is a piece of their own family-history with the goal to pass the property down to their daughter in the future.

Suggested arrival time prior to 5:00 PM on June 1st
Based on the time difference and the travel time to get to Istanbul it is recommended that you fly out on May 31st

Departures are at your leisure.
Cherish will have two scheduled transfers from the hotel back to the airport. Our team will schedule two transfers based on the departure times of our guests after flights are booked. One transfer will accommodate morning flights and a second transfer will be for flights later in the afternoon/evening.

Check out time at the hotel is 11:00 AM

Full pick up details will be sent to you at least one week prior to your arrival.

Travel Requirements

Entry Requirements for Turkey*

Valid passport within at least six months of expiration
You will be denied entry into Turkey if there is not enough space for entry and exit stamps in your passport
Return ticket to the country of origin or the next destination to visit
You need a visa to travel to Turkey. For tourism or commercial travel of up to 90 days within a 180 day period, obtain a Turkish visa from Turkish missions abroad or from the e-Visa application system prior to arrival. Link to apply for a tourist visa below.
Get entry and exit stamps. You must have a Turkish entry stamp to fly domestically. Get an exit stamp in your passport when leaving the country or you may face difficulties re-entering Turkey in the future and a fine.

A visa cost is $50 and must be applied for prior to arrival in Turkey and only within 3 months of your travel date.

Cherish Trips are for women curious about mindful and immersive travel

The Turkey trip is approachable for women of all ages who consider themselves to be lightly active, open-minded, and outgoing.
The Turkey trip has several opportunities for personal choice in order to have an experience that feels curated to your specific needs. There are a few walking tours that will require you to be on your feet for extended hours, however, there are not any activities that require any physical health considerations.

With current events in our world, we have received a few concerns about visiting Turkey. Please know that our travelers' safety is our top priority and we will be closely monitoring the safety levels in visiting Turkey next summer. Who is your Travel Guide for the Turkey Trip? For every Cherish trip, we provide a dedicated guide to travel alongside you for the duration of the trip. They are with you to not only facilitate the itinerary but also ensure you have an incredible travel experience. That's why we call our team "Memory Creators". They work with our local partners, tour operators, etc. to seamlessly create an impactful and memorable experience for your vacation.

This trip is extra special because it will be led by our Founder, Megan. In 2024, Turkey is the only tour that our Founder will be leading.

How to Book

You can sign up for your Turkey Immersive Travel Experience today by clicking the "Submit Deposit" or "Travel with Us" buttons to open a pop-up menu to make your room selections, enter your personal details, see your payment options, and then submit your payment to join.

The Turkey trip requires a non-refundable $500 deposit to be able to secure your spot. You have the option to make 5 additional payments via a payment plan for the remaining trip balance or simply pay in full.
